Service Description

This small group handgun training session in Merrill, WI brings your skills together. This is a coached session, not an open practice. You will receive direct feedback as you apply your fundamentals in realistic, decision-based scenarios. This session moves beyond isolated drills and focuses on how to think, move, and respond with intention. You will begin applying multiple skills at once while navigating more complex and dynamic situations. We emphasize awareness, decision-making, and control over speed or perfection. You will learn how to assess what is happening, make decisions under pressure, and respond appropriately. This is where your training becomes application. What You Will Learn: - Defensive mindset and awareness principles - Decision-making under pressure - How to assess and respond to realistic scenarios - Movement, positioning, and use of space - Introduction to one-handed shooting concepts What You Will Practice: - Scenario-based drills with coaching - Applying multiple skills together - Decision-making in guided exercises - Controlled movement and positioning Why This Matters: These skills help you: - Apply your training in realistic situations - Build confidence in making decisions under pressure - Improve awareness and control - Bring together everything learn in the series Who This Is For: - Students who have completed prior sessions in the series - Shooters ready to move beyond fundamentals into application - Anyone wanting to build confidence in real-world context What to Bring: - Handgun - At least 2 magazines - 150 to 200 rounds of ammunition - Eye and ear protection - Water - Weather-appropriate clothing (closed-toed shoes recommended) - Sunscreen and bug spray (if needed) - Notebook and pen for notes Targets will be provided Range Fee: Range fee is paid directly to the range and is not included in the class price. Additional Notes: - Safety and control are prioritized over speed - Holster use is not required - Students who completed Draw and Presentation may draw from the holster at the instructor's discretion Instructor Note: This session is focused on quality and consistency. We will move at a pace that allows for coaching, feedback, and improvement. Series Note: This class is part of the Roble Defense Handgun Skills Series. Students who complete 4 of 6 classes in the Skills Series will earn an exclusive challenge patch.
