Service Description

Build a safe, consistent draw with coaching in Merrill, WI. You will receive direct feedback to develop a smooth, repeatable draw and presentation with consistency and control. This session focuses on outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster work to create a safe, structured learning environment while building strong fundamentals. You will learn how to safely draw your handgun, establish a proper grip from the holster, and present to the target with control. We break the process into clear steps, then build it into an efficient, repeatable motion. This is not about speed first. It is about building a safe, consistent draw. Speed will come with proper technique and repetition. What You Will Learn: - Safe and efficient draw mechanics - Strong grip established from the holster - Clearing garments - Presentation and alignment to the target - Building a repeatable draw stroke What You Will Practice: - Step-by-step draw progression drills - Dry fire repetition - Live fire focused on presentation and control - Reinforcing safe, consistent mechanics Why This Matters: A proper draw helps you: - Safely access your handgun - Build consistency and confidence - Improve efficiency without losing control - Prepare for more advanced skills Who This Is For: - Students with basic handgun safety knowledge - Shooters ready to move beyond static fundamentals - Anyone wanting to work safely from a holster What to Bring: - Handgun - OWB holster - Sturdy belt designed to support a holster and handgun - 2 to 3 magazines (minimum) - At least 100 rounds of ammunition - Eye and ear protection - Water - Weather-appropriate clothing - Sunscreen and bug spray (if needed) - Notebook and pen (optional, but encouraged) Range Fee: Range fee is paid directly to the range and is not included in the class price. Holster Requirements: - Must be OWB for safety and consistency - Must fully cover the trigger guard - Must retain the firearm securely - No crossdraw, shoulder holsters, or off-body carry methods - No trigger finger release buttons (e.g., SERPA-style holsters) Additional Notes: - IWB/off-body draw is best suited for private lessons Instructor Note: This session is focused on quality and consistency. We will move at a pace that allows for coaching, feedback, and improvement. Series Note: This class is part of the Roble Defense Handgun Skills Series. Students who complete 4 of 6 classes in the Skills Series will earn an exclusive challenge patch.
